Last night i went to the most a.m.a.z.i.n.g party! It was up in the "rich" part of our town, and the house was beautiful. Get this, they had an infinity pool, that chaged colors, a pool house, that was as big as half my down stairs, and a double stairwell.
My best friend, Chantel, and I walked in, and were immediatly tramatized. Chantel, coming from a apartment, looked a little sad too. The look in her eyes kinda gave a * why cant you give this to my family too, God? * kinda look.
I, on the other hand, live in a house just a little smaller than the amazing house we walked into. Of course mine doesnt have have a pool, or any of that, but I am still very thankful for what I have.
And that got me thinking, If God gives us such amazing things, and he died on the croos for US, then why would any material thing be more than that? I mean, he sacrificed his life for us. Isn't that more than you could ever ask for?
Im not sure this makes scence, but it sure changed my perspective on the house. God gave that house to them as an oppertunity, not as a prize. Why cant we all just realize that our God, gives love richer than any material thing on earth?
