Im sick. Im sick of trying to be that girl that everyone wants me to be. Im stepping out into the world, on my own terms, on my own two feet. Of course I love my family, but for once I feel like I am free from their grasp, and can do what I was put on this earth to do. Don't get me wrong... I still live with my parents, and am very young, but I feel so open. Ready to open my wings and soar into the un-known. To discover. To creat. To nurish. To love. I can do these things on my own hands and knees and I don't need anyone to back me up. I have made friends that I know will be there for me, and have left the ones that I have spent countless years cowering behind. Hiding the true person that lay beneath my skin. That snappy girl, that one that you don't mess with. That's the type of girl I am... That I finally get to be. Not the girl that counts on her friends and family to take care of her 24/7. I can do what I want, be what I want, and LIVE HOW I WANT! My never-ending path of darkness is finally ending with one silly snap of my fingers. I no longer sit in my room and think about cutting and the pain in my heart. I no longer will act this way, listening to things that make my heart sink deeper into my huge pool of sorrow. I AM FREE!
